The Dell Precision 17 7730 has a full-size backlit keyboard and glass trackpad; both are soft to touch. They are comfortable to type on, and provide an easy and pleasant typing experience. The trackpad is also compatible with the gesture support. I prefer using three fingers and swipe down on it to reveal my Windows desktop 8.1 or reduce the windows using 5 fingers on OS X El Capitan. The Dell Precision also can support up to three-finger gestures, which makes navigating Windows 10 much more enjoyable than if they were not there. It’s an amazing feature that gives you more functionality.

The Dell Precision 17 7730 has a wide variety of ports, making it easy to connect to just about any peripheral you could need. On the left side are two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, a Mini DisplayPort, and an SD card reader. On the right side are two more USB 3.0 ports: a Thunderbolt 3 port, an Ethernet jack, and a headphone jack.
