The full form of CPWD is Central Public Works Department. It is an agency of the Indian government that deals with all sorts of public service activities or development works. The department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and management of a wide range of infrastructural projects. These include roads, bridges, flyovers, buildings, housing complexes, water supply and sewerage systems, power plants, etc. also provides various services to government departments and agencies, such as project management consultancy, architectural and engineering services, environmental impact assessment, and more.
